The Friends of Poulton Park and the Georges River Council are excited to announce a Planting Day at Poulton Park, South Hurstville, on Friday, April 19, 2024. This is a wonderful opportunity for community members to get involved in helping restore and enhance the natural beauty of this important local park.
Whether you’re an experienced gardener or a first-time volunteer, we welcome everyone to participate in this meaningful event. It’s a great way to contribute to the environment, meet like-minded individuals, and enjoy some time outdoors.

What We’ll Be Doing
During this event, volunteers will assist in planting native shrubs, trees, and groundcovers that will help improve the biodiversity of the park. The plants will provide crucial habitat for local wildlife, help improve the health of the soil, and enhance the overall aesthetic of the park.

Tea, coffee, and light refreshments will be provided for all volunteers to enjoy during the break.
